The TB335R is a short-tail 3.5-ton class excavator, about 7,970 lbs with a canopy or 8,310 lbs with a cab. Takeuchi lists its tail swing radius at 3 ft 1.4 in, so the house stays close to the tracks when you swing next to a wall, a fence, or a live lane.

TB335R Compared With Nearby Sizes
The TB235-2 is the conventional-tail machine of the same class: about 550 lbs lighter, with a narrower 5 ft 2.2 in undercarriage and a longer tail.
