Where the TB20e Fits
The TB20e is a battery-electric compact excavator of about two tons: 4,255 lbs, 7 ft 10 in of dig depth, and a 24.7 kWh battery in place of a diesel engine. It produces no exhaust at the machine and runs quietly, which suits work inside buildings, in occupied neighborhoods, and on sites with emissions or noise limits.
It shares its working range with the diesel TB216, including a retractable undercarriage that Takeuchi lists at 38.6 in retracted and 51.2 in extended. Plan the job around charging: ask Garton about run time for your duty cycle and the power available on site.

The TB216H carries both a diesel engine and an electric motor, so it can work where no charger is available and still run without exhaust when the job requires it.
