LANDCROS ZD series

Articulated dump trucks: ZD30, ZD45 and ZD50

A manufacturing agreement with Bell Equipment brings three articulated dump truck models into the LANDCROS family, covering the 30 to 50 ton range. Hitachi expects them in early summer 2027, with more sizes from 20 to 60 tons to follow shortly after.

Bell has built articulated dump trucks for the North American market for more than 26 years and will support the rollout with its own technical specialists. Sales, parts and service run through the Hitachi LANDCROS dealer network, so excavators, wheel loaders and haul trucks can all come through Garton Tractor.

Power and durability. Class-leading engine output and torque for demanding haul cycles. Articulation joints designed for high-load work, with high-tensile steel and widely spaced tapered roller bearings.

Standard safety technology. On-Board Weighing shows the operator the load in real time during loading. Bin Tip Prevention monitors the rear chassis angle during dumping and stops the bed from rising when a rollover risk appears. Geofencing through the fleet management system can block restricted areas, set speed limits by zone, mark dump-prohibited areas and help prevent theft.

Serviceability. A 10-inch color monitor shows operating status, safety warnings, troubleshooting information and vehicle settings. Grease points are centralized and reachable from ground level for faster routine maintenance.

LANDCROS ZT series

Compact track loaders built with Yanmar

Yanmar Compact Equipment North America will manufacture compact track loaders for Hitachi Construction Machinery Americas at its Grand Rapids, Minnesota plant, the first step in a wider compact equipment collaboration between the two companies.

Hitachi plans to begin selling them in North America under the LANDCROS brand in fall 2027. Model numbers and specifications have not been announced yet; each model will be added here as Hitachi publishes it.
