NEW HOLLAND STRIVES TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT
New Holland launched their Clean Energy Leader strategy 10 years ago to improve the present and future lives of farmers and our society as a whole.
Their goals are based on four key pillars:
New Holland high-horsepower tractors and equipment are powered by ECOBlue HI-eSCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) engines.
These are designed and developed in-house by Fiat Powertrain Industrial. Their proven high-efficiency SCR technology uses AdBlue Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) to transform the harmful nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gas into harmless water and nitrogen.
You get a clean-running power unit with improved performance, greater reactivity, and enhanced fuel efficiency.
NEW HOLLAND WANTS TO MAKE SUSTAINABLE AG ENERGY
New Holland strongly believes in promoting renewable fuels and sustainable agriculture. In fact, they were the first agricultural equipment brand to fully embrace the awesome potential of biodiesel to give ag workers a glimpse at true ag energy independence.
It’s their dream for farmers to grow, harvest, and process crops for their own energy needs and sell surplus energy back to the national grid. It’s a win-win for everyone.
New Holland unveiled their grand plan for increasing ag energy independence with the launch of their NH2 tractor, which is powered on hydrogen and produces virtually zero emissions other than a little water.
Farmers can refill their hydrogen ‘“fuel” by generating energy from renewable sources on their future ‘Sustainable Farm’. Think about that.
It’s clear to see that New Holland has been motivated by the forward-thinking dedication and can-do attitude of their customers. It’s this spirit that propels them to engineer innovative products that make the jobs of farmers easier, increases their productivity, and all but guarantees success.
